Professor Dr. Khosrow Daneshbod, founder of Dr. Daneshbod Pathobiology and Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, is regarded as one of the prominent and influential figures in the fields of pathology and laboratory medicine in Iran. He was born in Tehran in 1933 (1312 in the Iranian calendar) and, after completing his medical education, graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Daneshbod holds specialty board certifications in Pediatrics and Pathology from Harvard University and has spent a significant part of his academic and professional career at distinguished educational and medical institutions in Iran and abroad.
He began his academic teaching career at Shiraz University in 1966 (1345) and successfully completed a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the University of Washington in 1969 (1348). As his academic career progressed, he also taught at the University of Texas and became a member of the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Throughout decades of scientific, academic, and executive activity, Professor Dr. Khosrow Daneshbod has played an important role in advancing the field of pathology and improving medical diagnostic services in Iran. Some of his key professional positions and achievements include:

In 1985 (1364), while continuing his academic and scientific activities at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Daneshbod founded Dr. Daneshbod Pathobiology and Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in the city of Shiraz.
The laboratory was established on the foundation of his specialized knowledge, extensive scientific experience, and meticulous commitment to the quality of laboratory services. Over the following years, it developed into one of the recognized medical diagnostic and pathobiology centers in southern Iran.
